advance for any
student
transferring
from another
college with a
Masters Degree,
and having
161—190 credit
hours or the
equivalent. The
attainment of
the Doctorate
Degree must
represent a
complete mastery
of a particular
field in the
intellectual
areas designated
as Religious
Education,
Divinity,
Theology or
Sacred Music.
All theses must
be approved by
the Officers of
Administration.
Grading and
Graduation:
Credits are
determined by
term work and
final
examinations. A
student must
earn the
approved number
of acceptable
credits for each
degree. A
minimum letter
grade of “C” is
required to
receive credit.
A Master
Degree of
Religious
Education,
Theology,
Divinity, or
Sacred Music is
a prerequisite
for admission to
the Doctorate
program. A
Doctorate Degree
of Religious
Education,
Theology,
Divinity or
Sacred Music
will require 30
hours of credit
in addition to
the work
required for the
Master Degree of
Religious
Education,
Theology,
Divinity or
Sacred Music.
All Doctoral
candidates must
have
dissertations
completed by
January, prior
to graduation in
February,
starting in
2008.
(Note:
Doctoral
Candidates
should be
actively
involved in
leadership in
the field in
which they are
studying.)
Graduation
Fee
Rental fee
for graduation
apparel is
$125.00. Diploma
fee is $25.00.
All
matriculation
fees, tuition
fees, and
diploma fee must
be paid in full
before degree is
granted. All
students
graduating from
extension or
recognized
schools, must
have all
documentation
and fees
submitted to the
E.B.C.S. office
no later than
December 1,
prior to Feb.
graduation.
