Our Helps Program, "House of Bread" ministers to all those in need.  Dr. Dirk and Karen vanDalen are the directors of this ministry.  They have served in this type of ministry since 1990.  Dr. Dirk and Karen have helped over 2,215 people pray the prayer of salvation.  They have seen 69 Jewish persons accept Messiah Y'shua, and they have ministered to almost 2500 families.

Families are especially vulnerable during the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons.  Summers are also tough for a lot of families.

What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and any of you says to them, Depart in peace, be warmed and filled, but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?

Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
