I became a follower of Jesus Christ at the age of seventeen in a Pentecostal Church. At the beginning of my walk, I was influenced by three different "Gospels" that had me all confused. It was only when I read the Bible for myself that I could clearly see through the spiritual fog of deception. My walk with Jesus was not always a fair relationship. Jesus was faithful to do his part, but I was living a hypocritical lifestyle. It took a lifer altering event to turn me around and a rededication to Jesus on one Wednesday night church service. I don't claim to be perfect, but I have confidence that I am living a life pleasing to Jesus based on his Holy Word. |
In September 2006, my wife, Jamie and I were
entrusted with a church in Wellington. We were under leaders who had
a desire to touch the lost in that city. They took Jamie and I under
their wings and gave us the opportunity to preach and lead worship.
This lasted only a year and we are forever grateful for the spiritual
training ground. While serving there, two desire for public ministry
developed. That the prayer of Jesus Christ found in John 17:23 will
be answered. I agree with Jesus that when we are all one, the world
will believe Jesus is the Son of God. The second is that Christians
who are lost in the church, or are stuck in sin or fear of what others
think, will be set free like I was. Being trapped between two worlds
is an awful feeling; I want to help my brothers and sisters, and I want
them to help my family and I. We are all in debt according to God's
Word. It is the debt of love that we will always owe and never be
able to payoff towards one another. Praise God for this type of
debt! I am excited about what God is doing in His body and also grateful
to be working at EBC Ministries.
